Hello,
I already have 1 female hatchling called Jaffa she is in her own faunarium and is perfectly healthy and eating pinkies. Recently my breeder got incontact with me saying she had 3 hatchlings needing homes so I said I would take them 1 boy and 2 girls all about 8 months old and eating fluffies.
She houses all 3 together in a faunarium but is giving me a viv, I am going to keep the male in my faunarium and house all 3 females together (advised by her), I was just wondering if it is safe? she said as long as they have lots of hides and climbing things to fill the viv up and are fed in seperate boxes they should be fine.
Will they be fine? sorry for the long post. |

This thread is about 4 hatchlings. Hatchlings should not be housed together.
To the op, thats great if you can house them seperatly, in that case, go for it and hope to see pics once you have them.

Money isn't an issue I will be able to house them seperately, I was literally just asking because there are so many conflicting opinions on if they should be housed together etc. Thanks so much for your input so far :) |

agreed still not cheap lol but in this case its going to be the cheapest route to go, but agree if you cant afford to house them you shouldnt buy them but in this case id put it down to the breeder giving ****E advice to the member, dch89 I hope your able to serperate them and you have some happy snakeys :) |

Heat strips are fine, I use them but even that isn't a cheap option. I buy a 4ft heat strip for £20, a thermostat is around £20, 3 digital thermometers say £9, 3 rubs/tubs maybe £10.
To the op, if you can't afford to house them seperatly then don't get them. Sounds to me like the breeder is trying get shot of them and willing to give you dangerous advice so they are no longer her problem  |

Louise got it in one really and tbh with them being Hatchies I would expect the viv will be to big, my advice would be if your tight on money go by 3 small rubs, a large long strip head mat, a thermostate and 3 digi temps and put them in there for now. If you can afford it tho, get them all their own heat sauce and thermostat. |

Seriously the breeder needs their head testing! What stupid advice to give someone.
