so do they burrow underneath the substrate to get as close to the heat mat as they can? i think i'll take some substrate out then. so worried i'm gonna kill her when i get her just because the temperatures too high or low. hopefully i'll get it right by saturday thanks!

how thick is the layer of substrate, personally id aim to get the correct temp under the substrate as thats the closest they can get to the mat then liturally give a dusting of substrate

right i've got my mat under my viv, then my substrate. the temperature prboe reads 35 degrees when i put the probe underneath the substrate but 28.9 when its above the substrate.

you were told that its best ontop of the mat in ya other thread about mats an stats. but explain ya set up abit
