Hello
Well I'm always monitoring the temp in Mr Ts faun it usually goes up to 30.4 degrees c give or take .3 and shuts Off and starts up again at around 26.5 but when I woke up this morning it was reading 37! But nothing has altered and the probes haven't moved any ideas ? I've turned the stat right down just so it's a tad colder rather than too hot
Thanks

Both probes are on the inside of the faun reading from the same place with one of those rubber suction pads the thermometer display is looking dim so I'll get a new battery tomorrow and I'll have to pick something else up to get a reading for back up for future reference
Thanks

The only time I have ever had a reading like that is when my stat probe came unstuck and lifted off the heatmat.

even 'decent' digital thermometers can go faulty, sometimes it's just cos they need new batteries, anything giving an obscure reading i double-check with a greenhouse type thermometer

what's your basic set-up like and where are the probes?

Is your thermometer on the blink, first thing I'd check anyway.
