Posted - 22/05/2011 : 13:59:32 just fed sid and the first mouse he struck and constricted on then just let go, so tried the second one and he swallowed it straight down, i have now covered the rub with a tea towel but how long should i leave him outside his normal house before i put him back? |

Posted - 22/05/2011 : 16:09:34 thats what i thought, normally he eats fine, i checked on him about an hour after feeding and either it defrosted enough to escape or he ate it in the end |

Posted - 22/05/2011 : 15:00:49 I wait until the food moves into the stomach (you'll know its there when it stops moving down) and then I let him go back into his viv so he can go settle down to digesting. Takes about 5 minutes from him totally swallowing but if you leave him 10 minutes you can't go wrong. |
