What age do people think is ok to move a snake into a large 4ft Viv.
My Snake is only 3 months old and am in no rush to move him but wondered when I had to start thinking about it

This is the set up i put theo in from the age i got him at which was around 6 months and he escaped because i forgot to put cardboard in the doors once, but im getting some draft excluders thick enough to put inbetween the glass doors, but he has been fine, shedded, eating, havnt seen him drink tho, not once in the whole 6 weeks ive had him,

ok will have a look into it he seems happy enough at the moment where he is and think he would get lost in a 3 foot viv, when i purchased him they said it would be 18 months before i had to upgrade |

will be a long long time before your snake will, if at all, need a 4ft viv. some corns dont enjoy the available space and some do but generally unless your corn is a giant it will do fine, as an adult, in a 3ft viv, again its a while away. |

Thanks, so do I need to wait until my snake is 4ft long to put him in a 4Ft VIV? (sorry if this is a stupid question?) |

its not age specific its size that determines upgrade of housing, usually when snakes length = width + length of housing its time to upgrade. |
