Posted - 09/05/2011 : 14:46:36 hey guys, iv seen in some faun pictures that some people have a thin layer of polystyrene with the heat mat ontop of that, and then the faun over that with a small gap inbetween.
just wondering if it is better to have it this way, and does it matter if there is a gap between the heat mat and bottom of the faun?
sorry for all the constant questions, just want to make sure i get everything right for Chihiro
thank you |

you can, personally i had the desk, the heatmat with stat probe on and then the faun with the thermometer probe inside roughly directly on top of the stat probe and held down with a hide i dont think it makes much difference, i just adjust the stat so that the thermometer probe reads the ideal temp - mine are around 29'c
Yup, thats also exactly what I did when I used a faun |
