Posted - 02/05/2011 : 13:10:30 hi im about to move vinnie up to a 4 foot wooden viv now ive been reading that the heat wat with stat should be on the inside as on the outside its not gonna work. so should i put thin layer of polystrne tile under on on top of the mat along with they thin layer of aspen or is this a bad thing wat do u guys do im not gonna mve him in for at least a few days gonna build the tank today get dad to silcone uo the tank then let it dry |

Posted - 03/05/2011 : 11:20:41 just be warned 4 ft is a big viv for a corn, unless hes a big boy. a big viv might cause issues like not feeding etc. a 3ft is a much better option |

Posted - 03/05/2011 : 11:02:48 You can also put some aquarium sealant around the edges of the mat to safely stick it down. With my snakes only being small when I set up their viv,none of their furniture was heavy enough to hold the mat down so this was the best option for me. |

A polystyrene tile on top of the mat will insulate it. |
