Ok yet another daft question, I bought Milton for cleaning out dakota's faun once a month, figured if its safe for babies bottles then it should be fine, anyway her faun came with a hide and a piece of wood bark and am wondering how easy this is to clean should she poop on it? How do you all clean these? |

I pick off the poo and then spray with reptile discenfecant and scub. If it needs a bit more of a soak I use warm bubbly water XD |

i only use bleach for cleaning stuff, but it needs to be well rinsed. None of the stuff in my snakes tub is porous though, so I don't know if its any good on wood etc although I did have a tree soaking in the bath when I had my iggy :D |

I think anything that is safe for disaffecting baby bottles is generally safe for snake. I use f10 and anything pooped on I just soak in the stuff and scrub clean |

I think a lot of people clean wood and such by soaking it in 5%(?) bleach/water solution, and leaving to sun dry.
I just tend to scrape the poop off and then soak it damn thing in reptile disinfectant haha!
Cant help you on the Milton front, I mean, in theory it should be safe, I used to use it to disinfect my fish nets and my fishies never had any ill effects from it, but it might be different for snakes! |
