Posted - 09/04/2011 : 22:29:06 I made an earlier post about whether I should move my Topaz onto fuzzies and the response was mainly yes , so I bought a bag of 10 (the bag said FUZZY MOUSE on it, by the way) and now that they have arrived, I'm not so sure if he'll get them down OK , because they are about three times bigger than the pinkies that he's on now, I was simply wondering if there is different sizes of fuzzy mouse and, most importantly, WHAT SHOULD I DO??????

Posted - 10/04/2011 : 09:47:26 i agree with lotabob, give them a go
you could weigh them and use the smallest one first? and if you're just moving up a mouse size increase the feeding interval a day or 2 to allow plenty of time for fully digestion |

Posted - 09/04/2011 : 22:34:08 Rather than compare to the other mice are the mice no bigger than 1.5 times the size of the thickest point of your snake. Its always worrying when they move up a size and leaves you thinking no way will they eat it. THEY WILL and you'd be amazed how big they can go.

Thats my little guy, he is only 2 foot and 45 grams and eating small mice without any problems at all. |
