hello again ppl ,Ok so its now the 11th day since i got my corn and still not handeled it yet, i left it for the recommended 7 days to settle in like i woz advised, and it seemed a little weary. I mentioned this and i woz told the longer i leave it 2 settle in the better, so i thought ive waited this long a few more days cant hurt ! so as i said im now on the 11th day and still a little weary, i would say maybe a little more comfortable than at first but im still not sure. Im really sorry if this sounds like a daft question but any advice i would really appreciate. Thanks XX :)

like said above they do normally calm down with regular handling little and often is best at 1st. but i can honestly say the best thing you can do is just go for it!and you and your snake will get used to handling in no time :)

To be honest its normal for them to be nervous. They all vary to a degree though, the one I've had the longest is only just really calming down and I've had him since August whereas the other 2 are more chilled out.
Some may say different, but myself I think its worth just getting him/her out for a couple of minutes, then gradually increase the time you hold him/her for over the weeks. They usually calm down after a being held for a little while.
It really is just a matter of time.
