Posted - 31/03/2011 : 22:42:49 hey guys,
So on sunday my corn snake Solid escaped, luckily last night i found him and put him back in his viv. I used duct tape to secure the lid back on the viv. This morning he got his head stuck to the duct tape from the inside and was really stuck on there tight :( after 5-6 minutes i managed to gently pull him off. Earlier i got him a new, smaller plastic more secure viv. To make sure he was moving fine and whatnot, i tapped the viv but he attacked it like he was trying to get me three times.
when i gave him a pinky today he didn't grab it really quick like usual, it took him 5-10 minutes to notice it was there. He is also very different in his movements, he just sits against the side of the viv, usually he likes to slither around or sit on his wood.
Is this normal for a recently escaped snake and one who had a truamatic experience?
Thanks |

Posted - 01/04/2011 : 10:04:06 Leave him alone for a while as he's been through a lot. If I was you though I'd check theres nothing left behind on the tape, and if there is then I'd get him straight the vets. |

When you removed him from the tape, was there anything left on the tape?
