my amel corn who is about 4ft is super active always out in his rub, exploring and standing up in the rub to the top.....is this normal?

Posted - 26/03/2011 : 16:59:46 it's up to you really.......i think it's more natural to feed fortnightly. snakes haven't evolved to be digesting food all the time, they're more likely to be fit and health (IMO) when fed a larger meal less frequently 
the exception is with breeding females that need much more energy and nutrition to produce and lay eggs |

thanks ive been feeding a med mouse every week - so i should up the size and feed every 2 weeks? which is better

for an adult male i'd feed him a large or XL mouse fortnightly but monitor his weight monthly for any loss or gain |
