i have a friend with the most beautiful corn snake i ever knew. he live feeds him like he should but he also feeds him on treats as he is convinced that animals, like humans, needs sweet treats every now and again. his fave is those ferrero rocher chocs link removed by K which i am convinced cant be good for snakes. i know that choc isnt good for dogs and cats and stuff and all i can fnid online is this: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100707090704AA2Mo5R which is obviously proven untrue by the fact that my friends snake does eat the chocolates. anyone able to say if this is bad for them? if so how?

Somehow I can't see a snake mistaking a bit of chocolate for a mouse. :-/

My snakes would learn very quickly the kind of telling off that they'd get if they went near my cake.
The kingerings are a nice walk in a gentle breeze on a summers day, compared to what they'd get.

chocolate is toxic to everything, including people. but everything varies, songbirds would die from 1 smartie but people need to eat LOADS until they die, I don't know about snakes though. sorry I couldn't be more help.
