Hi all I am going to do my own background for my 5 foot viv
I am wondering about spray foam? Me and the hubby are thinking of spray foaming and texturing it to make it 3d with formed caves
But I'm not sure if spray foam is safe it dries rock hard, then we were going to pva glue it then mix paint and sand to make it look like a rock face,
Is this ok ??

The paint I would be using is acrylic so is that ok instead of pva?

You may want to look on rfuk they have a ton of stuff about this kinda stuff :p
I was thinking of doing it myself, reading stuff I sound that people used polyboards as a base and then used spray foam to raise area. Then when it drys, they carved into it and coated in it grit/grout? And after a few layers of that they painted it with water proof paints such as acrylic. The trouble with pva glue is that when it get's wet, it weakens and would mean bits falls off!
