hey guys posted a few weeks ago about a bulb watt for my new 4ft viv....have had to move his viv into my room now and the miss dislikes the light on a night time are ceramic bulbs any good? if so what make should i get and also i have a dimming stat so can i run a ceramic bulb on this or do i need a different stat?

as g said ceramics are fine, theres loads of makes out there. but remember depending on what wattage u go for u may need a ceramic holder. i use a infra red bulb for my python. dimming can be used on either of them without any issue

Lights are a pain in the neck at night so I can see why she dislikes it :p that's why I now use mats.

nothing wrong with ceramics and the dimmer will be fine with that. no idea what make of ceramic though.

also infra red bulbs, not coloured red bulb, are not a bad option either.
