Posted - 07/03/2011 : 09:38:32 hey guys posted a few weeks ago about a bulb watt for my new 4ft viv....have had to move his viv into my room now and the miss dislikes the light on a night time are ceramic bulbs any good? if so what make should i get and also i have a dimming stat so can i run a ceramic bulb on this or do i need a different stat? |

Posted - 07/03/2011 : 10:02:58 as g said ceramics are fine, theres loads of makes out there. but remember depending on what wattage u go for u may need a ceramic holder. i use a infra red bulb for my python. dimming can be used on either of them without any issue |

Posted - 07/03/2011 : 10:01:38 Lights are a pain in the neck at night so I can see why she dislikes it :p that's why I now use mats. |

also infra red bulbs, not coloured red bulb, are not a bad option either. |
