Hey guys,

Unsure of the age of Cecil - Female Snow Corn,

Paperwork shows December, but the year is written so messy, that it could be Dec 2009 or Dec 2010

She is 1ft 5ins long

So is she 1 year 2 months or just 2 months, as my mate who has Anerythristic Motley, his is 6 months old, 1ft 9in long, and just started taking fuzzies also, he does feed her though 2 pinkies every 5 days which may compensate for the difference in size

any ideas?

Feeding/shedding charts given to me shows since December 2010, this could be because they only keep the last 2 months or because she is only two months.

She's shed once which was in December and chart does not show any further shedding
She was fed 1 pinky on weekly basis
And she took her first fuzzy yesterday in which took her 10 minutes from striking to her tongue flickering with her jaw re-aligned.

Any ideas as to the age?

They all grow at different rates but from experience, 2 ft is normally about the 8 month - 12 month period. And Lou is dead right, from a clutch of eggs one snake was 2ft at 5 months old, another one at 8 and another one at 12.

well lightning my corn is a mid to late 2009 corn and is 2 foot 7 or 2 foot 8 so i would say its more likely to be 2 months

Just because your mates snake is 2ft doesn't mean yours will be the same.

They all grow at different rates, even snakes from the same clutch. I have 4 corns all roughly the same age and all are different lengths and weights.

No way is she 1 year 2 months!!

If the paper work shows shedding since december 2010 then she will be a 2010 baby.

She is still "see through" which as a young one they are until they get older, and she is 1ft 5 inches?

so one guy says 2 months, which maybe of some ppl confirmed, i'll take it as that
