Posted - 20/02/2011 : 15:56:24 While checking the snakes today I discovered one of them missing! It was one of the new house snakes still in her flip top box for her quarantine, and very luckily I found her three feet away curled up under some clothes next to the radiator all nice and warm.
Braplast flip top boxes get a huge thumbs down from me after this!
I was considering using them for hatchies this year after having an escapee from a cricket tub but I'm going to have to have a rethink. |

Posted - 20/02/2011 : 16:11:31 Im not sure what make they were but I had a couple of flip top boxes for Peanut and Carmellia when I got them and I put heavy books on either end to weigh them down as they seemed to lift up very easily |

Posted - 20/02/2011 : 16:01:17 nice one on the capture , I have a few braplast boxes but I wouldn't use them for housing any of the snakes but just for feeding, as the I think the lid comes very loose very easily |
