Going through shop records of when I first got my snake she apears to be 6 months old and she's at 16 incus long is this right or is she a little younger ?

Size really isn't an indicator of age as individual corn snakes grow at different rates.

Mine is 6mths old and almost 2' long, whereas other people on the forum have corn snakes the same age that are under 1'.

As long as your snake is eating, drinking and shedding regularly, I wouldn't worry. I'd just presume the age you've been told is correct.

There really is no way of knowing how old or young your snake is, weight and size counts for nothing really.
