Posted - 06/02/2011 : 13:44:13 Hi apologies if this has been posted before but I have had my 3 month old corn for a week now and this morning thought I might have a go at handling him. First off I put my hand in his tank but away from him and he seemed absolutely fine with this. I left my hand there for a couple of minutes and then carefully tried to pick him up at which point he slithered away pretty quickly. So my question is how do I attempt to pick him up without scaring the hell out of him? Should i Ieave my hand in his tank and see if he slithers onto my hand? I want to do the best thing for him and don't want to make him a nervous wreck but at the same time I obviously want to get him used to being handled. Any help/advice would be really appreciated. |
