Hi Micky,
I've got to be honest, I haven't heard of one of your choices, but then I'm new to snake keeping, I personally use aspen,
thats what i said "aspen" was my original choice but i recently read about aubois being slightly better and cheaper aspen does seem to be the most popular choice but when i had my king (couple years ago now)i always used orchid bark and he still buried in it |

I've got to be honest, I haven't heard of one of your choices, but then I'm new to snake keeping, I personally use aspen, chosen because it seems popular with snake owners, its snake-safe and it looks natural my Vin loves burrowing in it although I've been told that if your corn has been ill and not pooing or having abnormal faeces it can make seeing and checking their poohs a bit more difficult.
I used kitchen paper initially to make sure he was digesting his dinner and pooing properly before moving to aspen.
Hope this helps! |
