Has anyone used one of these Habistat Pulse Stats?

Are they okay to use with standard heat mats? It says ideal for ceramic heaters but no mention of mats.

Ive found one brand new for £31.00 so migh get one.

I have a habistat matstat but it's an old one from my sister's boyfriend and I'm starting to think that it's on it's way out as I can't seem to get temps to stay stable so looking to replace it. Think I'm going to go for a pulse stat as everyone seems to suggest they're the best.

I too have a habistat matstat and theres hardly any fluctuation.

Not about pulse stats but as its about stats I have 2 habistat dimming stats which have ZERO fluctuation (unless you open the door and let some heat out but never goes over the aimed for temperature which is what its there for), they are absolutely on the nose perfect. I have a habistat mat-stat too which I aim for 28 degrees and would only move between 27.4-28.2 when checking max-min readings.

That's pretty good. A few people have said mine might be faulty but its getting swapped for pulse stay this week anyway.

Blimey, my mini stat keeps a great temp and has only 2 degrees movement so my warm end temps are bang on 28-30c

Cheers for replys.

Ive got a lucky reptile stat that keeps temp between 28 and 30. Ive got a habistat that keeps temp bang on 28 with less than 1 degree movement and I've got a ministat that is shocking. Ranges from 24 to 31.

I will go for the PP and see how it does. But I think I will be replacing all stats for PP in future.

I've got both a mat stat and a PP stat, the PP wins hands down, warm end temps with the pulse proportional stat barely move, where as the matstat temp can drift by 3 or 4 degrees. I'll be sticking with PP's for future use.

pulse stats are the best imo,the keep temps dead on with no fluctuation

I use a habistat pulse stat. These are the best types of stat to use with a mat they keep better temps than matstats
