Just bought a digital theometer although it only has one probe! Its reading at 29.3C just wondering the best temp range for warm and cool?

She is in a faunarium just now with plastic feet preventing contact with the bottom, however i do have a thinish layer Of aspen.

28/30 at warm end 23/25 at cool end, again took lots of faffing around with the stat, but Dodge seems happy, so I'm happy

Thanks. Took me a while to get it like that. Lots of messing about with the stat!

Glad you said that as I thought my stat was going to break, it varies from 27-30 without being touched, the slightest turn of the dial and it changes a lot. Pleased that someone else has had to do a lot of messing to get good temps!

my warm ends are around 27 degrees and the cool ends are whatever the rest of the room is :)

mine are ambient temp 27-28 warm right down to 22-24 cool end with basking spots if they need more heat. not sure if thats "ideal" but mine seem happy enough! :)
