Aww thats the kind of thing I would do lol!
I'm sure you'll have a nice shiny snake before long. I hope you get to see it happen.
I fed Falcor on the 1st Dec and he shed on the 3rd. Loki had always fed when in shed too so I wouldn't worry about it.
Loki is in blue right now. Its his 3rd shed with me but the first one where his eyes have clouded over!

That's great news! It's lovely when they do the 'first' of everything. I'm really pleased for you.

Stressing is good, shows you care! Mine are a source of constant worry, but wouldn't have it any other way :)

Mine all carry on as usual while shedding. Some snakes are fine with it and others get a bit grumpy and just want to hide away. There's no right or wrong!

It can be more difficult to see much change in red eyes but they do go cloudy. They look opaque and dull. You might also notice her overall colour looks dull and 'wishy-washy' .....how's that for intelligent language!!

My snows eyes turn to a greyish pink when he's about to shed. And if you pay close attention before and after, you can see a slight colour washout too! But it's very hard to notice!
