Posted - 03/12/2010 : 16:16:49 Claude has just reached the magical 100 gram weight mark and is fast outgrowing his 9l RUB. He barely fits his hides anymore, so I think it might be time to move him up a size. I've acquired a 50l RUB to use when he is ready, but my main question is how big do you guys think he should be to realistically be comfortable in a 50l RUB?
Also, secretly, as soon as he does move up, there will be a spare RUB for a new hatchling... hehe

Posted - 21/12/2010 : 18:50:32 im just getting a new viv for mine now, i decided to move up purely on looking at her when shes exploring. she just seemed to be finding herself all the time. i guess its just a case of 'guesstimating' how much space they want, but i always like her to at least be able to stretch out over the length of the tank. also heard a square foot for every foot of snakey? |

Claude, when you come to drill air holes in it hun, if you put some masking tape in the area your drilling. then drill, you wont get and plastic burrs on there, so no/little sanding/scraping of sharp bits needed
phew.......thats me brain all frazzled out now lol |

Posted - 05/12/2010 : 17:20:46 to add again, just looked at the RUB website, id say personally a 50L is long enough, but not much hight in it i personally would go for the 145L RUB, there youve got hight and the size of the 50L as in length and depth
you can add more vines etc for him to climb http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/uk/html/onlineshop/fullrange_rub.php
hope it helps |

Posted - 05/12/2010 : 17:16:26 well i use RUB's for lots of things, and a 5L RUB is the size and dimentions of a shoe box, so a 50 would be 10x that size. id say for like fulscap/A4 suspended files??
hope that helps ppl picturing sizes |

Posted - 05/12/2010 : 16:43:56 50l means nothing, see what the dimensions are and everyone here will be able to help, but until then I couldnt tell you because I have no clue about how big 50l is. But isnt the rule usually length+depth=snake length. :) I hope this helps. Tiffany-x |
