Mike is the expert in this Scott, but I was wondering whether he is eating normally, pooing normally? Does he behave as he always has when you have him out to handle him? (Is that what you mean by 'hes fine as in helth hand temps'?) Have there been any changes recently to his viv/surroundings, any stress?

I know both my corns spend most of their time in their hides (they are 3'6" and 4'5" approx), the only time I see them is when I get them out to handle them and then I have to take their hides off them to get them out !!

The only reason I have asked the questions is that this seems to be a change in his behaviour, whereas with my 2 they are always hiding!

I would think that as long as he is fine in every other way then you have nothing to worry about....he has just decided he likes hiding from you at the moment .

it might be just a case of he doesnt want to, they go through periods where they might not want to socialise too much, they just want to chill out and have a bit of time to themselves.
The skin stretches when they shed, so you will prob find he is closer to 4ft8 4ft10, you can measure him with string.
