Hi Guys just a quick post to see if anybody uses one of these, I would be using it as a light source (on top of Exo Terra Mesh cover) rather than a heat source but in the blurb it says that when the light is turned off at night it gives a gentle glow to simulate night time which I thought would look quite good, Oh and if you do use one what bulb do you use as there seems a multitude of options.
Thanks Jay

i dont use them, but i dont see any reason why not. although i would have though night time wouldnt need to be simulated when its dark!!!
as for bulbs, if you dont want to use it for heat, then i would use an energy saver, or LED, something thats nice and cheap to run.
40w and 60w bulbs on all day arent the cheapest things, especially when you are not using them for heat.
