I tend to smoke in my room and i was just wondering if this would badly affect my corn snake?

I don't have it yet but will do tomorrow so just want to keep safe =] thanks

Yeah, BATS knows more but you shouldnt even touch snakes when you have been smoking I think, maybe just stop smoking in that room or quit all together!! :P

I read somewhere that nicotine is highly toxic to snakes, so probably best not to.

I should imagine it wouldnt be very nice for snakie, considering the harm it does to people id hate to think what it could do to a poor snake. You could try quitting all together

I wouldn't, snakes have quite addictive personalities and it would be on 60 a day before you know it.

I am no snake expert nor do I think studies of the effects of second hand smoke have been conducted on snakes. I smoke as well. But I don't do it inside the house because we have kids. My best guess and I'm only using common sense on this, is that yes the in long term smoke would be harmful to any living creature that was confined to a room in which smoking was being conducted. For the health of your pet I would suggest putting it in another room. That would help a little.
