Posted - 13/10/2010 : 22:44:16 Yay, we have a snakey :) S/he is a little baby snakey, 4 feeds old when we got him, named Kayo. Carolina with the most beautiful markings in the world (in my totally unbiased opinion). Got him from City Reptiles in Belfast. He spends his entire life in the trees at the back of his home. Thought I'd lost him the other day, emptied everything out, was convinced that he'd gone, when I found him curled up in the smallest hole in his wood hide - daft snakey!
We have had Kayo for nearly 3 weeks now and first shed was today. Was panicking slightly 'cause he went off his food for the past 10 days so was very glad to see slithery skin at the back of the viv this evening :) Hopefully he'll be chomping down the pinkys again.
I'll post some photos as soon as I find the lead for my camera. |

Posted - 17/10/2010 : 18:38:09 Good news is that he is eating again and it's staying put :) I'll know for next time not to bother wasting pinkies when he's coming into blue! Just have to wrest the camera from little person and you'll get to see him. |

Posted - 14/10/2010 : 10:15:07 Finally Kat....its been a long 5 months since you first joined us looking for breeders in Northern Ireland!
I am not surprised you think Kayo has the most beautiful markings in the world....now you just have to prove it by putting up pics ! This link will help - How to - Post images using photobucket
Its great that he is feeding well and obviously settled in well. Did make me smile about you panicking about Kayo escaping when he was hiding in the smallest hole in his wood hide....you arent the only forum member that has happened to !
So glad you have finally got your corn and that Kayo has got a great new home .
