Posted - 08/10/2010 : 10:45:43 Bella is in a small vivarium at the moment but fairly soon she's going to need a full size one - and of course, so will the others eventually. What's the best value vivairum out there in terms of price to quality? Obviously I don't want my babies living in substandard accommodation but I also don't want to pay silly prices.
...And making our own isn't an option; we're both so clumsy it would probably involve loss of limbs somewhere along the line. |

Posted - 08/10/2010 : 13:36:56 The VivExotic LX range are fairly well priced. I bought the LX48 Viv and the CX48 cabinet, although they don't go together, it was easy to drill out the locating pin holes in the base of the viv for the cabinet to stand on. Saved about £40 by not buying the XV or EX vivs that should be used with the CX cabinets. |

wooden vivs keep the temps more stable, are enclosed on 3 sides helping your snake feel happy and secure, and are readily available in a variety of finishes. i'd avoid ply or mdf vivs though.
expect to ay about £20/foot new, if it's cheaper than that then it's a good buy |
