If Izzy refused to come out then I just stick the feeding lunchbox into the corner and lure her out with the mouse. It's much easier than digging her out of all the vines in the corner and she seems to love "hunting" the mouse!

good idea though :) and well you could always get another one in 3 years time :D hahaa but this one is only £2.39 :P so might as well get it and if Tangoo doesnt like it then he doesnt like it haha :P xx

Sometimes when I've fed in-viv I've used a shallow bowl or plate - but half the time snakey's taken the mouse and pulled it off the bowl and into the substrate ...kitchen roll or newspaper is better, or a small open rub that they can climb out of after feeding, but can't drag the mouse out of ... my lot are awkward - I would prefer to feed them all out of viv but a couple prefer IN-viv.

On the subject of feeding bowls, for lizard keepers etc, I went to B&Q today for a couple of small ceramic plantpot saucers for my pet crickets to feed from, and found: bamboo fibre, very nice looking, biodegradeable, olive green, plantpot saucers, 5 small, 98p, 5larger £1.58. (Don't QUITE see the point of a dish that's going to self-destruct in 3 years' time but it looks better than plastic and at that price - what the hell?'

Oh haha , how old is he?
Mine wouldnt strike for his food until he was about 8 months old, but he would just sort of slowly take it out of the tweezer things. Now he full on strikes at it, I guess he's realised he's big enough to eat things haha :D

haha arww :P lol Tangoo only eats his if its lying down cuz he wont strike feed :/ xx

I don't think there's much point in a food bowl, because you dont have to fill it every day or anything
Plus, my snake wont eat his food unless its waggled round. If it's just lying there he's like 'um...what is this...'and just stares at it haha!

ahh right :) lol i might get one and see if it is okay for him seen as its only a couple of quid so aint much of a loss of money if he doesnt like it :) xx

I used to use a dish for Izzy's mouse as it cam with him but too be honest his mouse filled it. I just put the mouse on some kitchen roll now. He is the only one fed in viv so wouldnt use a dish for any of the others anyway.
