I'm getting another cornsnake soon and it will have to live above Sid. I was just wondering if it will freak out a hatchling if it can smell Sid through the vents. Is there anything I should watch out for as signs of great stress?
Sorry if they sounds like a stupid questions but I've only ever had one snake to think about before!

I have about 100 snakes in the same room, and leos and a frog, no one is bothered by it.

Definitely saw changes in behaviour between my two when they moved into the same room. Twilight became a fussy eater and Saracen was really skittish. They've both calmed down now though and are fine.

My snakes don't seem at all bothered by each other. If I have 2 viv doors open though, the one on top will try and visit the one below him.

Aaah, sorry - just remembered you posted about that, didn't you?

Having a mushy brain day myself ... what am I talking about? EVERY day is a mushy brain day!!

Oh I love ambers! They've got a male in at my local rep shop - I'm sure he's started blushing and saying, 'what you staring at me like that for, woman!'

All the best with your new babe!

Hi, herriotfan. Don't think it's a stupid question at all - it's wise to think of every possibility. But loads of people have viv stacks and wherever the new snake comes from, it will very likely have been in proximity with other snakes' vivs/rubs and been smelling other snakes? All the best!

Ps, what are you thinking of getting?
