how do you tell if a corn is hungry ?
how to tell if a corn is angry/unhappy ?
and do corns like to be in water for a wash ?

Hey, Danny, I've never yet heard a corn hiss - didn't know they could! I've had a couple of pre-shed tail rattles and my little royal hisses when he's in shed, but never yet heard the corns - unless my lot are just very placid.
When i got casper she was very nervous/defensive and whenever i used to open her tank and go to pick her up, she'd "S up" and rattle her tail, if i carried on she'd hiss and then eventually strike multiple times.
She got pretty crafty aswell, there was one time when i went to change her water and she hissed and struck at me from under the aspen near her water bowl 
She calmed down and stopped after a couple of weeks, but still used to hiss when she was in blue. Sometimes i wouldn't even no where she was untill she hissed. |

Yeah, I've seen mine 'wipe' their jaws after feeding. Different to the 'one pinky was NOT enough!' nuzzling and hunting round after feeding - believe me you'll know it when you see it.

Izzy gets a lot more active as the week goes on so I presume that she's out hunting for food. The day I feed her she's usually out for about 3 or 4 hours straight, climbing all over the place!
I have seen her have a "wash" after eating a couple of times! It's only been when the mouse has popped but I've seen her stick her head under the water and swish it about! |

Some do like the water, don't think it's for a "wash" but rather to ease them pooping or when it's time for a shed or, because they just feel like it. It's best not to bath a snake unless their is a problem.
If they are unhappy, they can also rattle heir tail and sometimes musk or wee on you.
If they are hungry, they can sometimes after feeding look round and search for more food but it doesn't always mean you should feed them more. |

Snakes are opportunistic feeders, they don't know when or where they're next meal is going to come so it is down to the owner to know when to feed the snake. This is usually once every 5-14 days for a corn snake, depending on size of snake and meal.
If your corn is unhappy/angry he will likely take on a defensive pose and hiss at you.
And no corns do not like going in water for a wash... |
