I think garter snakes eat crickets and I think the rough green snakes eat crickets, but only as a varied diet.

If you roast crickets they apprently taste amazing! In some countries, they sell them in market places like we do sweets.

I know both Rough and Smooth Green Snakes eat insects. Not sure on garter snakes but possibly, i know they eat earth worms.

I have heard of people feeding crickets to garters, I'm not sure if you meant to. I would guess that they would eat anything that is about pinky sized. It heard it can take some trying to get them to eat pinky mice in captivity.

Ooooo, just googled crickets ... in Japan they are thought to bring luck to the house.

Children keep them because their chirping lulls them off to sleep.

As an insomniac ...well ...

I'm going to the rep shop tomorrow ... have got a spare tank ...

Cricket lullaby tomorrow night!

Eww! Crickets' spit is toxic?

Nasty little things.

I won't waste any sympathy on the cricket I saw in my local rep shop the other day. A very small iggy had hold of it and worried it like a terrier with a rat!

I like the noise they make though. Before I got my stick insects I thought about keeping some crickets as pets ...

Crickets have balls ...

I read somewhere that hatchling corns will go for spiders? Don't ask me what nutritional value there is in a spider though!

And I read a post on that other forum where a guy was standing in the garden with a boa or python, and it saw a large spider crawling up the wall - and struck and took it!

oh thank you :)

Some snakes will eat crickets, it depends on the species. However it's highly unlikely a corn would see them as a prey item and they're not very good for them they have nearly no nutritional value for cornsnakes.
