Posted - 30/08/2010 : 20:46:48 The two times i've fed Salem he's pooped normally, then pooped out half a mouse too and i dont know why!
He's in a plastic box (the one that Dinger used to live in before she moved up so i dont suspect anything is wrong with the tub) and he has got two hides in each end. Temperature is 27 on the warm end
and he is eating small mice - the same as he was before i got him He eats them no trouble at all... just doesnt like to digest the bum end it seems
Any ideas, troops? |

Posted - 30/08/2010 : 22:33:51 It did not - well, not that i went up close and sniffed or anything - but it didnt smell like anything at all. The only reason i thought i wasnt a regurge was that it was in/with a chunk of normal looking poop |

Posted - 30/08/2010 : 20:55:42 I once came across a tail. For a horrible moment I thought it was a regurge, but it was 2/3 days after feeding and when I dissected it it was definitely fur, faeces... and a tail. Never heard of a whole back end, but perhaps it's just bony bits - femurs, claws, tail, and snakey has got most nourishment from rest??
All the best. |
