Hi all

Looking to get my 2nd corn snake soon and i can't make up my mind.

was thinking of a lavender, but the snakes i was looking at in my local shop were expensive, then i noticed on Iansvivarium some ghost's are very similier in colour and pattern.

also are there any breeders in the south east of kent where i live? as i think i would rather purchase my next snake from one.

So many lovely snakes and i can't decide!!!!

It's funny you should say that because in some lights, yes, Spooky does look similar to my Spider who's anery, but Spides is a definite dark chocolate/ivory and Spooks, as I've said, has beige/pink markings. Sorry, definitely haunted by ghosts!!

Yeah, it is tough, unless you've got a particular preference for the eye colouration. Sorry, by the way, I never noticed the bit about Ian's Vivariums in your first post (smack wrists, not reading it properly!)

What I forgot to put is that I don't think a camera can do justice to these snakes; they are so delicately coloured - some morphs photograph really well but when Spooky moves about and catches the light, her markings look translucent, changing from fawn to pink; I imagine a lavender would be much the same. I've never been one for pale colours but Spooks is beautiful.

Good luck with your choice - nice problem to have!

as that is a tough choice and i have both just get both (and that would be unfair 4 me to say one or the other) :D :p :D

Right you are B.A.T.S, about the eyes and Ian's Viv =]

I would say get a Lav, as I prefer those over Ghosts. Unless you can get a Ghost stripe, then get that =P

I may be wrong about this - correct me if I am, but from what I've studied up on, lavenders and ghosts are fairly similar - but lavenders have ruby eyes, ghosts have dark ... as I say, only what I gather from reading - not an expert!

I have a ghost girl called Spooky - she is a pinky brown on ivory coloured snake - really beautiful! I like the earthy coloured snakes and anerys, but when I saw her ... well ...

There's a ghost in my house ...

ps eeji is Ian's Morphs, am I right? He would definitely have the right info on his website.
