Posted - 08/08/2010 : 12:13:06 I had this with my first snake, pet shop deist are strange they either seem to feed a small amount or too much. I got 2 yearlinsg from a petshop, both feeding on pinkies. I switched him onto fuzzies in the next few meals and he then moved up from fuzzies to the next sized mouse quickly, one had a big growth spurt but the other one didn't. |

Posted - 08/08/2010 : 11:26:53 if hes nearly a year old and been kept on a basic diet (one the doesnt cost the shop too much!) then he will be smaller than most snakes his age, as you feed him bigger meals you'll notice that he will have a growth spurt but dont rush him onto fuzzies ect start him off with what hes used to, then maybe go from one pinkie to 2,eventually after that you can see how he does with small fuzzies, hope this helps |
