Posted - 01/08/2010 : 18:13:30 Hello, I brought my butter home today for the first time, took me a 4 hour train journey..only problem is the lady in the shop told me she THINKS i should feed him his pinkie straight away, but i've been told by other people to leave him to acclimate for a while. should i just put the pinkie in and see what happens? I dont want to stress him out after being in cars and trains almost 6 hours..thankyou for all your help! |

Posted - 02/08/2010 : 13:56:50 Hi and welcome. Congrats on your butter baby. I echo what has been said above. People in the rep/pet shops don't always know what they are talking about so any other questions you have you will find great answers on here. |

Posted - 01/08/2010 : 18:23:36 leaving it a week to settle before feeding probably the best idea, and to be honest the snake will already be stressed from its travles so you would only be adding to it. |
