do i leave a space on my heat mat for the probe and digi thermometer or put it over or under the aspen? At the moment i have left a space for it with sprinklings of aspen around the probes and mat. Is that ok?

i use microclimate and Habistat on / off, the habistat i think is slightly better but i have had no problems with Microclimate

Pulse stats are better as they keep a more constant temperature.

Thank you. You've been really helpful with advice. I'm currently using microclimate on / off thermostat. Can u recommend a better on for me? Are the pulse stats good?
