Posted - 26/07/2010 : 11:15:19 I was wondering if you can use duck tape to cover the heat mat so the snake doesn't burn himself? If i can use the tape do i cover the heat mat probe and digi thermometer sensor to ensure they are secure and will that ensure accurate readings? or do i stick them on top of the mat and tape (If i can use tape!) |

My mat isn't fixed, but have heard of people using silicone around the edges and on the probes too, I don't do this myself though. |
