I went on a dog walk this morning looking for some wood to put in my snakes' viv. We found some ash wood, is that alright for snakes? Not poisonous in any way? I really don't want to be a snakie murderer!! Thanks!

I'm not up on specifics, but a rule I've read (somewhere on here I think) is no soft woods. (So pine is out, etc)

mmmmmmm, I was gonna ask the same Q about Rhodedendron wood! :D

*looks about for a wood specialist!*
