My brother had a massive house party last night (...not impressed) and because i had to get up early in the morning and they had dance music on a stupid volume until 4am, so i went to stay with my coisin.
All night the lads have been saying that they want my snake and they wouldnt leave the poor thing alone all night, i lock her door and close the lizard room door.
Come back in the morning the lock is gone but the door is closed, and Dinger is NOT inside the tank.
Obviously she is not going to take the lock off and close the door behind her so somebody has taken her out of her tank.
...i dont know whether somebody has taken her or whether they just put her down and she slithered off, but i'm really panicking and dont know what to do.
None of my snakes have ever escaped before and i just wanted to keep my pets safe!
Fingers crossed she turns up safe... i'm continuing the hunt around the house  |

Glad she's back. Your Bro's 'mates' would have all been up for a very quick sex change if that had been me. I would possibly have 'fined' them all as well for letting it happen..........
and got them to buy me a new viv, set up and a new snakie to say sorry!!! |

Both my anskes escaped at the same time when they were hatchlings. They were gone for 2 months and then turned up in seperate places within two days of eachother! weird or what? Glad you got her back. There would be murder if that happened in my house! |

So glad she is home safe n sound where she belongs. Your brother has got some serious sucking up to do. I think you should make him fit the lock on the door and clean up all snakes poos for a month |

Glad to hear that she's safe and sound. Very sus though. I certainly wouldn't trust any of them again not ever. |

look who is home!!
I still think somebody took her....
we searched EVERYWHERE - taking couches apart, lifting up the carpet etc etc and only when his 'mates' come round to 'help' does she turn up!
She was in my mums bedroom just chilling in the middle of the floor!
She is safe and sound though - doesnt seem to be hurt in any way, just a bit cold and thirsty.
She was really clingy when i found her though so i think she was scared
I'll tell you all now... none of those people are coming again and theres a lock being fitted on that door tomorrow |

Does your brother know that dinger was a very expensive Tessera morph........
Looks like someone is gonna need to pay for his replacement or find out who's got him. |

I think your brother should contact all of the people who attended his party (i'm sorry but I can't call them mates as no friend would invade someones privacy by going into a closed room in their house and terrorise their animals). As much as I would want to hang the little scrote that was the culprit up by his gonads I would get your brother to try and get however it is to confess if they have the snake or if it just escaped them and where. They can do it anonymously because all you are concerned about is the welfare of the snake. Unfortunately if they think they are going to be in serious trouble for it they will be unlikely to confess so I guess its going to have to be handle gently. The sad point is that they were likely too drunk to really know what they were doing and wont remember what they did today.

Hope you find the little feller soon, I can understand what you're going through I had my Jester escape twice, it had me frantic. As far as your brothers mates are concerned I'd make them search for her soaked in rodent juice to tease her out. |
