Posted - 03/07/2010 : 19:23:13 Hi all
I feed Marge a small mouse once a week, usually on Sunday (unless i am on nights)and she always eats it with no problem. In the 3 monthes I have had her, she has gained an inch in length, increased her weight from 60g to 85g (weight today) and is noticeably thicker.
Is there a point where I need to miss the odd feed to stop Marge getting to chunky!!

Posted - 06/07/2010 : 04:40:30 It sounds like Marge is growing really well Glyn, and it is lovely hearing what a great feeder she is. As has already been said, as long as you are not feeding her more than once a week then there wont be a problem. I am still feeding Silvesta once a week and he is on large mice.
She is only little and has a lot of growing to do, so stop worrying !

Posted - 03/07/2010 : 19:42:16 I feed mine once a week and don't have any problems. If she has time out of the viv for exercise, is happy and not stressed out then I really wouldn't worry. I think most people feed at 7-10 day intervals. While she's still young and growing she will be happy feeding as often as once a week. |
