Hello everyone 
I know all about co-habitating snakes, and I also know how "split down the middle" people are about the subject, But....
I have a hatchling about 3 months old and I'm getting another can I keep them together? I've seen SO many pictures of hatchlings together is it possible? |

Well done for asking before doing it Hannah ! It is great that you are getting another corn already (its that corn addiction kicking in  !!). So how many corns do you have now?? You have been a forum member for nearly a month now....dont you think it is about time you said hi in the Introductions section, so we could all welcome you officially (and find out more about you in the process as we are a nosey lot  !)?!!
I know you have asked questions on co-habiting before regarding adults and have hopefully read the thread about keeping snakes together.
I am not surprised that you have seen lots of pics of hatchlings together....but it doesnt make it right. You will probably have seen them together in pet shops as well. It is not something I like seeing but I understand them doing it....and I guess that their turn-over is so fast that the hatchlings arent in together for very long.
It is so tempting to want to keep snakes together....it is easier money wise, space wise and the idea of the snakes being 'friends' is appealing....but I think you have seen that it just isnt worth the risks involved....and at least you have discovered that before trying it  .

Most pictures of hathies togteher are because they have just come out the egg fomr the incubator... anything that a young snake sees is really either food por a threat so if they don't eat each other, I imagine it would stress them out. |

Really no, more so for babies than adults, the reason being is as babies they can have cannibalistic tendencies, which would result in the death of both snakes. It wouldn't be the first time had happened either. For the sake of another setup its not worth taking the risk. |
