Posted - 24/06/2010 : 08:31:21 About 6/7 weeks ago i was selling my hatchlings but 2 escaped. Last night while my OH was putting some washing on he saw something move along the kitchen floor, it was the female that had got out. She doesnt look to bad considering, looks bigger than the 2 i still have left cause they aint feeding properly. Im so chuffed i think im going to keep her, need to think of a good name for her now. |

Posted - 28/06/2010 : 04:26:28 That is such good news Mel !! I bet you were so surprised (and your OH of course!). It really does show how hardy corns are that a hatchling can survive that long and actually thrive by the sounds of it.
Definitely like the sound of Boomerang as a name, as she came back to you....even if she didnt mean to .

Posted - 24/06/2010 : 09:28:58 Tis good that you've found her. Bet you're chuffed she decided to come out of hiding. I'm going with Houdini as a name. Has to be something to relate to the escape! Or even McQueen like Steve McQueen in The Great Escape!! |
