hi

just a question about the coconut shell fibre you can buy, called coconut terrain by komodo, is it okay for cornsnakes or is it harmful?

i saw a bag of loose coconut, not the slab of it you have to add water to, it's all ready to use, and says on the packet it can be used for arid environments in addition to humid environments, so it should be okay do you think please?

many thanks

I dont have any experience with coconut substrate myself Dee, but just did a search on it and this is a quote from Kehhlyr about it 'The loose stuff should be ok, it's very similar to aspen.'

From what I have read the brick/slab of coconut is something to stay well away from.

xxx
