Posted - 12/06/2010 : 03:48:47 Braining is definitely worth trying, even if it is a bit horrible doing. If you think it is bad doing it on a fuzzy then try doing it on a medium or jumbo mouse with a hard skull !! Hate the sound and feel of the skull crushing....
Actually got Silvesta to eat this week by warming and braining....but I think he was coming out of his breeding fast anyway so was ready to eat. Will keep doing it for the next few feeds (), just to get him back into the rhythm of eating.
Have tried braining with Kellog and he still ignores the mouse, so have even gone as far as slitting the stomach of the mouse - the things we do for our snakes....but even that didnt work. Guess he is still horny and will have to keep trying .
