Stage one of my DIY viv complete.

Was rather fun, it is 4' x almost 2' lol. Only issue is I had the front panel cut waaay too tall so its only a small opening but I guess ill live with it.
Comments and questions welcome.

Yeah only a 7in opening :/
I haven't sealed yet so still wondering whether to just take it back and ask them to half it lol.

I think you will need to get it cut down, it will look much better.

Looking good, its always fun and rewarding to build your own vivs.

I was just thinking it might be worth having another go with that front panel (unless you already put it together with sealant), I'm guessing the opening is about 6inch which will be closer to 5 when you put the door runners on. May find it difficult to clean and get things in and out, i.e a large full water bowl without spilling. I know it's difficult to get it right but you could try cutting it by hand.

Helped me a lot when doing my own design. When you've finished your project, don't forget to post the pictures for others

Good Job there Arron. Make sure you get images up, when you've finished the job
