Posted - 19/12/2012 : 10:25:16 So, if you read my previous thread, in getting a mantis for Xmas but it requires 30-40 degrees during the day. I wanted to make a gradient using a ceramic heat emitter. But I couldn't do this without enclosing the unit I have them in. I have decided to try and adapt the unit slightly with the use if Perspex. I plan on using pressure cupboard door magnets, the push and release type and neodymium magnets to make it possible to put the Perspex on and off. There will be a 3mm gap the entire way around both the pieces of perspex for ventilation, and if you push and release there will be a 8mm gap for extra ventilation if needed. A corner will also be cut in the front Perspex for cables. I hope ghats all clear lol
What do you guys think?
