Posted - 13/12/2012 : 10:53:47 I'm making a custom 4ft vivarium.
My main concern is getting the glass right.
The sizes of the frame is:
L 41" x H 13.3"
The glass I was going to order was
2 x L 21" x H 13" x T 4mm
I have not taken into account the runners, how do I go about this ?
Would the sizes above be correct ? Or do I need to take into account depth of runners ?
Thanks to anyone who helps in advance |

Posted - 13/12/2012 : 12:56:30 you can get runners from ebay, i got mine off there for not very much. i made a mistake of getting 4mm glass and 6mm runners, which were way too big, runners are sold in 4mm and 6mm so i think its best to get runners the same thickness as the glass

4ft long, for 4mm glass. i'd recommend buying the runners and then the glass to fit the runners. That item is a pair so top and bottom for £7 |
