Heya I was given a tv stand I don't really need as It will be wall mounted and I need a new viv and looked at it and though, ohhh one of my new snakes could enjoy that when she is bigger.
The doors will of course be converted t sliding doors and I was thinking about cutting a hole in the top shelf and make it a 2 story viv lol so she can have a top and bottom bit :)
What do you think??

Just started work on it and taken the heavy wood off the bottom, taken glass off and hinges :) will add photos here in a bit as I am currently giving galaxy cuddles and she has decided she likes my pocket and curled up in it so I don't want to move much lol

Oh I thought the gap was just because the doors were ajar! I see now :) Best of luck with the conversion! |

Callazagy- yeah I plan on cutting the shelf back a bit to put the runners on there and awesome wood tech was my favourite subject too, wish I had made a viv instead of my electric guitar though, would have been handy lol :)
Kate- I would keep the double doors but don't know how to close the gap between the two glass panels and I think sliding doors would be easier to lock :) |

Would sliding doors not be unnecessary work? Once you put a little lip on both floors to stop substrate falling out could you not just keep the double doors? Just an idea! |

Hi, how do you plan to use sliding doors with the bowed front? are ya going to cut the shelf back a bit and set the runners further back from the edge? Other than that yeah it should be pretty easy to convert and will look great. Wood tech and construction were my favorite subjects at school :) |

I'm just glad I took wood technology as a subject in school lol the skills I learnt would help in this :)
